【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodsdonotaddressenvironmentalimpact,productperformanceandfunctionality,determinationofgeographicalorigin,orassignmentofrequiredamountsofbiobasedcarbonnecessaryforcompliancewithfederallaws.1.2Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletoanyproductcontainingcarbon-basedcomponentsthatcanbecombustedinthepresenceofoxygentoproducecarbondioxide(CO2)gas.1.3ThesetestmethodsmakenoattempttoteachthebasicprinciplesoftheinstrumentationusedalthoughminimumrequirementsforinstrumentselectionarereferencedintheReferencessection.However,thepreparationofsamplesfortheabovetestmethodsisdescribed.Nodetailsofinstrumentoperationareincludedhere.Thesearebestobtainedfromthemanufacturerofthespecificinstrumentinuse.1.4Currently,therearenoISOtestmethodsthatareequivalenttothetestmethodsoutlinedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
