【摘要】:ThispartofISO13856specifiesthegeneralprinciplesandrequirementsforthedesignandtestingofpressure-sensitiveedgesandpressure-sensitivebarsforuseassafetydevicesandnotasactuatingdevicesfornormaloperation.Itisapplicabletopressure-sensitiveedgesandpressure-sensitivebars,withorwithoutanexternalresetfacility,usedtodetectpersonsorpartsofpersonswhomaybeexposedtodangersuchashazardousmovingparts.Itspurposerelatesprimarilytosafetyandreliabilityratherthansuitability(fortherelationshipbetweensafetyandreliability,seeISO13849-1:1999,AnnexD).ThispartofISO13856isrestrictedtothefunctioningofpressure-sensitiveedgesandpressure-sensitivebarsanddoesnotspecifytherequirementsfortheirapplication.However,Clause6doescontainrequirementsfortheinformationforusetobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.Thisdocumentdoesnotspecifythedimensionsofthepressure-sensitiveedgesorbarsinrelationtoaparticularapplication.ItisnotapplicabletostoppingdevicesaccordingtoIEC60204-1usedonlyfornormaloperational,includingemergencystopping,ofmachinery.Additionalrequirementscouldbenecessarywherepressure-sensitiveedgesandpressure-sensitivebarsareusedinlocationsaccessibletoelderlyordisabledpeopleorchildren.
