【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,geometry,strength,stiffnessanddurabilityascpects(i.e.corrosionprotection)ofdowel-typefastenersforuseinloadbearingtimberstructures.Onlydowel-typefastenersmanufacturedfromsteelarecoveredbythisEuropeanStandard.Forthepurposeofthisstandard,dowel-typefastenersfortimberstructuresaretakentobenails,staples,screws,dowels,andboltswithnuts.DefinitionsoftheseitemsaregiveninClause3.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesalsotheevaluationofconformityproceduresandincludesrequirementsformarkingoftheseproducts.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverresincoateddowel-typefastenersandfasternerstreatedwithfireretardantstoimprovetheirfireperformance.Italsodoesnotcoverresincoatedfasteners.
