【摘要】:PropertiesofEVAcopolymersareaffectedbytheamountofvinylacetateincorporatedinthecopolymer:Thistestmethodprovidesameanstodeterminethevinylacetatelevelincopolymersamples.Beforeproceedingwiththistestmethod,referenceshouldbemadetothespecificationofthematerialbeingtested.Anytestspecimenpreparation,conditioning,dimensions,ortestingparameters,oracombinationthereof,coveredinthematerialsspecificationshalltakeprecedenceoverthosementionedinthistestmethod.Iftherearenomaterialspecifications,thenthedefaultconditionsapply.1.1ThistestmethodcoversinfraredproceduresfordeterminingthevinylacetatecontentofEVAcopolymersusingpressedfilms(ProcedureA)ormoldedplaques(ProcedureB)andinternalcorrectionsforsamplethickness.1.2ThistestmethodisapplicabletotheanalysisofEVAcopolymerscontaining0.5to55%vinylacetateexceptasspecifiedin.1.3Talcinterfereswiththe1020cm1vinylacetateband.Resinscontaining5%vinylacetateandtalcareexcludedfromthescopeofthistestmethod.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.Note18212;ThistestmethodisnotequivalenttoISO8985.
